The Barn Climbing Gym is a well established indoor rock climbing gym in Mooiplaats, Pretoria. The Barn provides a fun, challenging and safe environment where patrons of all ages and skill levels can gain new climbing skills, exercise and socialize. The Climbing Barn’s friendly and knowledgeable staff are committed to enrich your recreational and educational experience.
The Barn Climbing Gym offers a range of activities for new to professional climbers. We have over 450m2 of climbing walls with both top-ropes and about 50m² lead climbing. There is also over 150m2 of bouldering wall in the upstairs cave that is suitable for beginner to advanced climbers. The routes are changed regularly to keep the gym interesting and fun. Gear for hire is available, and a gear store to cater for all your climbing gear requirements.
The Barn Climbing Gym facilities include a great venue for personalized Birthday Parties and Corporate Team Building Events. We also offer personalized training. We have regular social events for our climbing community. Beginners’ classes, climbing courses and coaching for beginners through to experts are all on offer, and there are regular outings to local crags. The facility also has showers. A new outdoors obstacle course allows for cross-fitness training programmes and excercises.
