Situla Pre-School in Hazelwood, Pretoria, is a special needs school for kids with Down Syndrome, ADHD, children on the Autism Spectrum, and children with Language and Speech Delays. The teachers and therapists concentrate on each child’s development, and provide a positive, fun environment for them to reach individual excellence. All the classes are small, with between 10 and 12 kids, for individual personal attention, and there are extra-mural activities available to expose the children to as many sport and cultural activities as possible.
Parents with concerns about their children’s development, can have them tested at the Situla Pre-School Screening and Assessment Centre, where there are age appropriate assessments for kids from three to six years old. The Situla Pre-School Therapeutic Services include speech therapy, music therapy, play therapy, occupational therapy, music therapy and divorce care.
