Rosewood School is a small, private Pre- and Primary School in Rooihuiskraal, Centurion, that offers education based on the Montessori Philosophy. The Pre-School follows the Montessori Recommended Curriculum where activities and lessons are presented by the teachers, and thereafter the students choose activities they are interested in, while teachers observe and monitor their progress. The Primary School offers more formal, structured academic routines and lessons, and focuses on the development of basic skills in Numeracy, Literacy, Grace and Courtesy, Life Skills and Afrikaans, and subjects such as biology, geography and cultural and educational equipment.
