Fijnwyn Innie Lente Wine Festival – Pretoria East, at the Shokran Events Venue, Pretoria, on 21 and 22 September 2019. Fijnwyn Wine and food festival is an event for the whole family, to be enjoyed by family and friends. The idea of the festival is to bring the Cape to Gauteng. There will be kids entertainment, live music on 2 stages, and street food vendors. A variety of boutique wine estates offer their wines, and include Vrede & Lust, Louis 57, Beyerskloof and many more! Shokran is a unique wedding and events venue situated in a tranquil farm setting amid pecan nut and almond plantations only 12km from Woodlands Boulevard. “Shokran” is the term used to say Thank You, and the venue is Moroccan inspired, intimate and romantic. It consists of a thatched-roof hall with a stunning fireplace and has large farm style “stoeps” surrounding it. Outside there are lush green lawns under beautiful indigenous trees. The main hall is adjacent to an almond tree plantation which makes it a truly magical setting. Outside ceremonies are ideal under a permanent tent which can be made up to match any theme.
